I have been practicing and teaching ceramics for over 20 years. Though I am most known for my signature “woven” technique, my work almost always endeavors to trompe l’oeil (fool the eye).  I enjoy the technical challenge of using clay to create a realistic portrayal of the things I find interesting. Most days, I can be found at The Chicago Clay Cooperative, a making space I co-founded with a longtime studio mate and friend.
